Cantata is a piece that explodes with life, joy, energy and colour, to the traditional songs of southern Italy. Through visceral and passionate movements, Bigonzetti explores the relationships between men and women, made up of plays of seduction,

the throes of passion and conflict. A tribute to southern Italian culture and its musical tradition, Cantata is a “Vesuvian eruption” that intimately ties together dance, music and song.
